Ana Collongette was born and raised in Havana, Cuba until the age of 10 when her family immigrated to the United States on the last Pam American Airways “Freedom Flight”. She attended Miami-Dade College and after graduation traveled to France and attended the School for American Studies in Aix-en-Provence, where she majored in French Literature and Political Science. She graduated from Florida International University with a major in Marketing.
Shortly after graduation, she was accepted into the Executive Training Program of Federated Department Stores (Burdines) where her career in retail lasted for five years in both the capacity of buying and management. In 1985, Ms. Collongette began her career in real estate and worked with the Arvida Corporation in sales and management until 1992 when she joined Ross and Associates, Inc. as a broker associate.
Ms. Collongette is trilingual, fluent in English, French and Spanish.
