The fall is a great time of year in Miami. It’s the time of year when beer festivals, pumpkin patches and all kinds of fall events take center stage. Whether you’re looking for a place to take the kids or an event specifically for adults, you’ll find a fall festival perfect for you near Miami. Here’s a look at some of the bets fall festivals coming up in the Miami are for 2016.

Oakland Park Oktoberfest – Jaco Pastorius Park

OktoberfestThis year marks the 12th annual Oakland Park Oktoberfest, which will be presented by Funky Buddha Brewery. The event will be held from September 30th to October 2nd and will provide all kinds of fun. As a celebration of German culture, plenty of German-style beers will be available, along with traditional German food and music.

The Oakland Park Oktoberfest will also feature a stein race, Bavarian folk dancers, an apple strudel eating contest and many other fun events. Tickets are just $5 to get in for those 12 and older.

Harvest Festival – Flamingo Gardens

Flamingo Gardens hosts the Harvest Festival every year and provides one of the best events for the entire family to enjoy. This year, the event will be held on October 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th. It starts at 9:30am and will run until 4pm each day.

The Harvest Festival includes many fun events, such as the 7th Annual Great Scarecrow Contest on opening weekend. It will also include hayrides, pumpkin picking, pumpkin decorating, crafts, games and plenty of activities. This is one of the most popular family-friendly fall festivals found in the Miami area.

Grovetoberfest – Peacock Park

Grovetoberfest, also known as the Miami Craft Beer Festival will be held on October 15th this year. Adults 21 and over get to enjoy one of the top beer events held in Miami each year. The festival will include breweries from all over the world with plenty of the best craft beers on hand for sampling. Tickets range from $40 to $90 depending on the experience you prefer and this event is only open to those 21 and older.

Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival – Regatta Park

Fall FestivalAnother very popular and family-friendly event, the Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival will be held from October 21st to 23rd. This event provides all kinds of fall fun, such as a carnival, hay bale maze, pumpkin patch, corn maze, fall food and much more.

Tickets for the festival are $15 for a one-day ticket with those under 2 years old getting in free. They also offer a family four pack of tickets for $60, which includes four general admission tickets.

South Beach Seafood Festival – Lummus Park

The 4th annual South Beach Seafood Festival or SOBE Seafood Festival will be held on October 22nd this year from 12pm to 7pm. This is one of the best festivals of the fall with 17 local restaurants on hand, plenty of live music, a beer garden and so much more to enjoy. There’s even a VIP Extended Party, which allows you to enjoy the event all the way until 11pm.

Some of the restaurants participating this year include Poseidon, Joe’s Stone Crabs, CJ’s Crab Shack, A Fish Called Avalon and many more. The event will include food demo zones, the beach, a beer garden and plenty more. General admission is $35 and VIP tickets are $150.
