Key Biscayne CondosKey Biscayne is known as an area with plenty of luxury condos found right on the water. From low rise buildings dating back to the 1960s to new waterfront towers, you’ll find a variety of options here.

The condos in Key Biscayne have become popular due to the incredible views and many luxuries found throughout. Some of the older buildings have been updates, while newer options offer luxury and plenty of amenities. Below is a look at the condominium options found throughout the Key Biscayne area.

Bahia Mar Condo

A waterfront option built in 1983, Bahia Mar Condo offers 11 floors with 40 units ranging from 2 to 5 bedrooms. The condos here provide between 1,518 and 3,365 square feet of living space.

Bahia Mar Condo is found at 650 Ocean Drive with condos ranging from about $895K to well over $1 million.

Casa Del Mar

Built in 1971, Casa Del Mar provides a waterfront building with 234 units covering 27 floors. Condos range from one to five bedrooms with 930 to 4,995 square feet of living space.

The building is located at 881 Ocean Drive and condos at Casa Del Mar range from about 1.25 million to nearly $3 million.

Commodore Club

Constructed from 1971 to 1974, the Commodore Club condo project is a waterfront option with three towers. All three stand 12 stories tall and provide a total of 552 residences. Ranging from one to four bedrooms, the condos provide 308 to 2,825 square feet of living space. The South building provides the largest options.

The towers are located at 155, 177 and 188 Ocean Lane Drive and prices range from about $500k up to more than $3 million.

Crandon Tower

Built in 1966, Crandon Tower provides a waterfront condo option with just seven floors and 28 units. All condos are 1 bedrooms and range from 1,040 to 1,090 square feet in size. Crandon Tower is found at 555 Crandon Boulevard.

Galen Breakers

Another small condo building, Galen Breakers was built in 1969 on the waterfront. It stands 8 stories tall with 64, two-bedroom units. All condos are 1,325 square feet in size.

Galen Breakers is located at 550 Ocean Drive and condos range in price from about $575K to $640K.

Galen Drive Condo

Key Biscakyne View from CondosThe Galen Drive Condo building was built in 1967. It’s not a waterfront option and only covers 3 floors with 42 units. The condos are all one or two-bedroom options with 568 to 1,100 square feet of living space. The building is located at 240 Galen Drive.

Gardens of Key Biscayne

Built in 1980, Gardens of Key Biscayne isn’t waterfront and offers 58 condos, all with two or three bedrooms. The units range from 1,460 to 2,422 square feet of living space. These are actually town homes with prices ranging from about $1.4 to $1.7 million. The complex is located at 101-259 East Enid Drive.

Governors Lodge

Dating back to 1963, Governors Lodge is one of the older condo buildings in Key Biscayne. It’s not a waterfront option and provides 32 residences covering three floors. Units range from one to three bedrooms with 440 to 1,030 square feet of living space. The building is located at 300 Sunrise Drive.

Grand Bay Club

Another complex with three towers, Grand Bay Club was built in 1966, 1999 and 2001 as waterfront condos. The first tower was the Grand Bay Residences in 1966, while the Grand Bay Tower was built later in 1999 and the Grand Bay Ritz Carlton in 2001.

Overall, the three towers provide 425 residences ranging from 354 to 10,090 square feet in size. The Grand Bay Residences provide the largest units, but the Grand Bay Tower has the largest overall average square feet per unit ranging from 2,470 to 5,770 square feet.

The 3 towers are found at 445, 430 and 455 Grand Bay Drive and prices range from $410K up to $7.2 million.

Island Breakers

A waterfront condo building dating back to 1970, Island Breakers stands 10 stories tall with 72 units. All units include two bedrooms rand range from 1,335 to 1,370 square feet of living space. The building is located at 150 Ocean Lane Drive.

Island House

Built in 1961, Island House is the oldest condo building on the list. It stands 14 stories tall and provides 118 condo units ranging from one to three bedrooms. Each unit provides 360 to 2,270 square feet of living space and this is a waterfront property.

The building is found at 200 Ocean Lane Drive and prices range from $950K to $1.25 million.
