A Frame Made of Gold

It might not be that big of a deal to get a picture frame made of gold, but a motorcycle frame made of gold is a big deal. This frame is found on the most expensive motorcycle in the world and it’s quite a sight.

Experts can’t say for sure if the bike is the most expensive ever built, but they estimate the frame alone is worth at least $1 million. Looking at the bike, you wouldn’t think it’s worth much because it looks old and beaten up.

This motorcycle was designed by a Turkish motorcycle fan with plenty of cash. Tarhan Telli designed the bike with 125 horsepower, a 700-pound curb weight and a six-speed transmission. The V-twin engine is 1801cc, which is far larger than the average bike. Of course, the engine gets overlooked on a bike like this because the frame is made of solid gold.

Why the Bike Looks Worn

Telli wanted a motorcycle made of very expensive materials, but he didn’t want it to stick out as if it’s the most expensive bike in the world. He opted for worn materials and patinas, which provide an antique look ant style to the motorcycle.

Is this the Most Expensive Motorcycle in the World?

Telli won’t tell anybody what he paid to have this bike created, but he did approach the Guinness Book of World Records with the goal of getting his bike named as the most expensive motorcycle in the world.

This boy toy is a one-of-a-kind and provides a great ride for Telli. With such a massive amount of gold used on the bike and the added touch of Medusa, snakes and many other artistic features, this motorcycle is expensive and unique. It certainly surpasses the current most expensive motorcycle in the Guinness Book of World Record’s, which only topped the list at $85,000.
