Art Basel Miami beach 2011 generates high level of excitement in the South Florida art community. Starting today, December 1st 2011, the city of Miami Beach hosts the most prestigious art show in the Americas. 260 leading galleries form North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa will take part in these 4 eventful days, bringing to Miami Beach works by more than 2,000 artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

This year, Art Basel Miami Beach marks its 10th edition with some special features. The Bass Museum of Art will collaborate on the transformation of Collins Park with unique artworks and performances by renowned artists and emerging talents. Art Video will be presented for the first time in SoundScape Park, on the large scale outdoor projection wall of the New World Center, designed by Frank Gehry.
