Maybe the hottest new restaurant, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila features plenty of great choices with a different feel than most South Beach restaurants. It’s a hip new restaurant with a covert lounge and caters to taco lovers. They also provide late night options to fill your cravings after dinner time.

This isn’t going to be the place you go if you want the finest dining option in the area. Instead, it’s a great spot for a casual meal or late night hang out. It’s owned and operated by the Menin Hotel Group in Miami.

The restaurant is known for providing excellent tacos with plenty of flavor. They actually converted a warehouse into the restaurant and the tacos are served from an Airstream trailer found inside the doors. It’s funky, unique and perfect for those looking for something different.

Coya – 999 Brickell Avenue, Miami

Brickell already has a very exciting dining scene, but Coya adds even more excitement. This spot provides plenty of colorful decor and feels a bit like it came over from London. The Peruvian menu provides a number of excellent choices and there’s a dedicated ceviche bar for all to enjoy.

Coya is known for the amazing seafood, fresh vegetables and meat skewers prepared on a charcoal grill. They serve herb and fruit infused liquors, along with plenty of excellent mixed drinks from the bar. Even if you’re new to Peruvian dishes, you can enjoy plenty of excellent choices recommended by the staff.

The dining room provides a look at many area antiques from native works of art to murals and so much more. Coya has a location in the UK, which was named as the Restaurant of the Year, as well.

A retro choice with a relaxed atmosphere, the Matador Room is found inside the newly renovated EDITION Hotel in Miami Beach. It’s the perfect choice for those looking to enjoy stepping into an era of tropical refinement. The dining room provides plenty of glamour with a retro style much like a 1950s hotel.

The decor includes plenty of pictures of bull fighters (Matadors) to add to the feel. Of course, you can also enjoy one of the fine cocktails from friendly bartenders when you dine at the Matador Room, as well.
