The city of South Miami, dubbed The City of Pleasant Living, falls between Coral Gables, Pinecrest and Unincorporated Dade. In addition to the Art in Public Place initiative, weekends are filled with runners, relaxing on picnic blankets and children’s birthday parties. Visitors also enjoy the tennis courts. For an outdoor cinematic experience, neighbors gather in the park for “Movie in the Park” events occurring on select Fridays every month.
