According to Lauren, the shop in Lincoln Road will offer a variety of candies such as Jujubes, clodhoppers, and jellybeans that have propelled her other shops to achieve a popular status among its customers. With a fashion legend father in the name of Ralph Lauren, people can’t help but wonder why Dylan chose the sweet concept of Blowpops instead of polos.
According to Dylan, her father believed that she should follow her gut. She added that she has always been inspired by his father’s achievements when it comes to fabrics, stripes, and colors, and actually see candies as fashion as well. She revealed that they even have candy-patterned garments in the store.
Aside from being busy with her candy enterprise, Lauren has also shared her skill in taste-making in the recent Project Runway Show on Lifetime. She is also busy working on a candy decoration project with E! She thinks that a vase decorated with jellybeans and Reese’s Pieces with feathers on top makes a captivating centerpiece.
And this she would definitely know.
