Fiat 500 By Gucci

This collaboration between these two icons of Italian design came to birth as a part of Gucci’s 90th anniversary. This stunning vehicle is a celebration of a combined Italian legacy which is over two centuries old. The iconic Fiat 500, also known in Italian as “cinquecento” was customized by Frida Gianni , Gucci’s creative director, and Fiat’s design office. “When the Fiat 500 first hit the road in the fifties it created a style revolution.” says creative director Frida Gianinni. “Gucci’s history has always been about traveling in style so when this collaboration came up, it struck me as the perfect opportunity to create a new modern travel statement.”

The exterior is available in either Black or White. In both cases an exclusive paint was used with glass beads which make the car shine like a gem. The Gucci identity is integrated to this car in many areas such as the “GG” marked hubcaps and “Gucci” written in italics on the tailgate and on the door pillars. Finally the green and red Gucci web runs along the exterior and also appear inside on the seats, gearshift, carpet, and seatbelt.
