As the owner of the Playboy Mansion, Hugh Hefner definitely has plenty of space for his expensive exotic pets. He actually keeps a variety of spider monkeys and peacocks in the backyard. To own a pet spider monkey, you’d have to spend for the actual monkey, and on housing and food supply. Keep in mind that spider monkeys are not meant to eat food scraps, unlike your loyal canine buddy.

Mikki Moore actually spends time with his beloved albino pythons. But because pythons thrive in high temperatures, he has to set the thermostat high. Depending on the breed, prices for albino pythons can range from $15,000 to $20,000 or more.
