Honor the Women of Distinction & Caring at the 5th Annual WDC LuncheonMay 10, 2012
If you’re looking to pay homage to the hardworking women that act as the pillars of South Florida living, then you won’t want to miss the 5th annual Women of Distinction & Caring luncheon, to take place on Friday, May 11th at about 11 AM at InterContinental Miami. Support a good cause, honor good people, and eat good food at this years WDC luncheon.
The entire Women of Decision & Caring ceremony serves two primary purposes – first, you’ll be honoring five women who have all gone above and beyond in their contributions to South Beach’s volunteer organizations, their role as community leaders and their service as philanthropists. These will be 5 women who have made Miami Beach a better place for those who can’t always do so for themselves, and the Women of Distinction & Caring luncheon is how you’ll be able to pay them their dues. While you’re at it, you’ll be supporting the Hebrew Homes Plaza Health Network which is the most expansive non-profit network of nursing centers in Miami…Tickets come at $125 per head, and table sponsorships are available as well; most of that money goes to Hebrew Homes.
If you’re interested in supporting these women, the luncheon will officially begin at 11 AM with a great silent auction (to raise money for Hebrew Homes) and champagne. You’ll then enjoy a delicious lunch accompanied by a series of videos telling the background story of each woman to be honored. The videos were created by an award winning film maker named Jerry Levine, so they should be a nice treat to end the event. All in all, it’s going to be a great time for a good cause that you won’t want to miss, so mark your calendar!
