Because Miami is such a popular destination for not only people on holidays and people who are looking to retire but also for people who are looking to just relocate the city is awash with great places to eat. Obviously being an oceanfront city means that the seafood in Miami is exemplary and in turn the sushi restaurants in the city are also excellent. Miami has a lot more to offer the average gourmand than just seafood however and we sat down long and hard to come up with the single best luxury restaurant in Miami, Florida.

In the end we felt that the Palme d’Or deserved the honor for a number of reasons with the first one being that it’s not specifically a seafood restaurant. You see we didn’t want to appear biased because of our location and choosing a seafood or sushi restaurant might have seemed like that. So instead we chose a restaurant, which specializes in French cuisine – which you might have guessed from the name.

The Palme D’or is actually part of the Biltmore luxury hotel and this is already a great start for your dining experience because the Biltmore is located in Coral Gables, affectionately known by the locals as the “City Beautiful”. With this location in mind and the style of cuisine you’re about to enjoy you know you’re already going to enjoy a meal worth remembering for quite some time to come.
