AllThingsD - Apple's Next Event to Be Held on October 4
In early August we estimated based on several rumors that the release of the iPhone 5 would come in October of this year. WSJ’s AllThingsD is reporting today that Apple has penned in, Tuesday October 4th, to hold its next big media event during which they are expected to unveil the new iPhone 5. Along with the usual buzz that surrounds Apple’s media events an extra bit of anticipation has been added to this one as it would be Apple’s new CEO, Tim Cook, first high profile product introduction. If indeed the iPhone 5 (or any next iteration of the iPhone device family) would be announced on Tuesday October 4th, then it is expected that Apple will make this new product available to the public about two weeks later. So it appears that we might be able to lay our hands on this new device in about a month. As always we will keep you posted.
