Londoners Enjoy a Velvet-Skinned Ferrari
July 26, 2013During the “Ramadan Rush”, a velvet-skinned Ferrari popped up in London. The “Ramadan Rush” is a tradition including the super-wealthy sailing from the Middle East to London to get out of the incredibly hot summer sun.
As this season began, a Ferrari 599 caught the eye of those passing by because of the suit it was wearing. This vehicle already comes with plenty of flash, but adding a $7,500 black velvet suit to this $300,000 vehicle, creating a Ferrari many couldn’t help, but stop and stare.
Not everybody found this Ferrari to be a beautiful car, but they still stopped to gawk. How could they help themselves? It was parked on the side of the road, it’s a Ferrari and it’s wrapped in cover most have never seen before. The company making the wrap for this vehicle offers 15 different colors with plenty of different styles.
Another Ridiculously Expensive Vehicle
The Lamborghini Aventador sells for about a half-million, but the ridiculous glow-in-the-dark version driven around London by a member of the family ruling Qatar, caught the eyes of the public for different reasons. This vehicle was recently impounded because the driver didn’t have the proper license or insurance.
Pulled over because the vehicle didn’t have a front license plate. Police quizzed the driver and impounded the vehicle. Even though the rumored owner, Nasser Al-Thani didn’t have any trouble getting a ride home, this was probably the most unique and possibly the most expensive car these police officer ever impounded.
Both these vehicles are a bit ridiculous and quite luxurious. Without the velvet suit or the glow-in-the-dark paint, these are extremely expensive vehicles. However, when adding these features, they becomes some of the most expensive and ridiculous vehicles in the world.
