Luxury Champagne Wrapped in LeopardJanuary 7, 2014
Moet & Chandon has recently unveiled their Leopard Luxury Edition champagne called The Methuselah. It comes in a gilded bottle and provides the best of both fashion and champagne. This six-liter bottle provides amazing Nectar Imperial Rose champagne in a bottle wrapped with 22-carat gold leaf leopard print. Only 60 of these bottles will be made.
When it comes to celebrating the holidays, you need more than just a glass of bubbly. This amazing choice provides the best of all worlds with a fashionable bottle, delicious bubbly and plenty of luxury. The limited edition bottles will sell for around $5,000.
Each bottle was handcrafted by Arthus-Bertand, a French engraver. The 22-carat gold leaves provide a leopard skin effect and the process used to get this look is very unique. This release came right in time for the holidays with 60 bottles ready for sale starting December 1st. They were available through Sherry-Lehmann Wine & Spirits in New York and a handful of exclusive nightclubs in the United States had a couple of bottles available, as well.
The champagne found within the bottle is the Nectar Imperial Rose champagne and provides one of the most diverse choices on the market. It’s made from three grapes found from the best vineyards in the region. These grapes are combined to provide a rich champagne perfect for celebration.
Moet & Chandon considers the Nectar Imperial Rose to be a big bodied, gourmet choice from their line with plenty of bright and fruity notes. It will seduce your palate and make you want another glass.
The pink color makes it even more appealing with flavors of wild strawberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant and yellow peach. The champagne is perfectly crafted to please your palate in multiple ways.
Even without the amazing bottle, this is a luxury champagne fit for royalty. However, add a 22-carat gold leaf wrapped bottle, only release 60 of them and you get a limited edition perfect for the drink and the collection.
