Luxury Pens From Delta – It’s All About The Style
November 22, 2012Not too many people resort to writing letters these days, what with email and iPads and Facebook etc etc, but few can deny that there is an innate charm about owning a luxury pen with which to scrawl your signature on those few documents that still require it.
Established back in 1982, the Italian brand Delta Pen Company is renowned for creating some of the world’s most beautiful pens, each one coming with a distinctive look and feel.
The difference with Delta pen’s is that each one is lovingly handcrafted at its facility in Southern Italy, reflecting the company’s insistence upon creativity and absolute quality. Indeed, Delta were the first pen makers to introduce titanium and carbon fiber to their writing instruments, back in 1992 when they first unveiled their awesome Extrema Collection.
Now, they’ve just come up with something truly special – their 25th Anniversary Collection, available in three different styles that vary in terms of solid gold (choice of yellow, white or rose gold), celluloid colors and winding sculptures that surround the body of the pens, not to mention the precious stones set inside them. As always, Delta’s prestigious insignia is present on the cap, enhanced by a choice of sapphires, diamonds or black diamonds. The pens are available with black, orange and blue ink.
A second exceptional piece is the new Romeo and Giulietta fountain pen from Delta – a limited edition piece of which there are just 25 available, hand-painted in celluloid and solid gold. These are truly stunning pens, with the body and cap being enriched by mother of pearl inserts and miniature hand paintings that depict famous scenes of the legendary Romeo and Juliet story. The top end of the cap features an 18 carat gold ring with the Delta logo impressed into it, and 25 diamonds in total.
Luxury writing instruments don’t come cheap however, with prices for Delta pens ranging from anything between $98 and $18,050 for limited editions.
