Luxury Waterfront Properties
August 3, 2013Audrey Ross was interviewed by the Wall Street journal for an insightful article about luxury waterfront homes. This article, titled The Water Factor, was written by Sanette Tanaka and was published yesterday in The Wall Street Journal’s Mansion section. Tanaka explores the reasons for which waterfront properties are so attractive which allows their price tag to be 63% more, on average, than similar landlocked homes (based on an analysis by global property consultancy Knight Frank).
Based on her expertise in Miami luxury real estate, Audrey Ross was asked to provide her insights about the role water frontage played in the Miami luxury real estate market. According to Ross waterfront properties could sometimes sell for more than a 100% premium, or double the price of a non-waterfront equivalent.
