Not only is the Elbo Room a beach bar, but it’s also one of the most famous choices in the area. This location was opened in 1939 and was featured in the movie, “Where the Boys Are.” It’s well-known by locals and one of the places you must discover if you’ve never been before.
The Elbo Room provides plenty of great drinks and a menu full of good food choices. It’s a two-floor establishment with live bands and plenty to enjoy. You can sit or stand to take in everything offered here and enjoy one of the iconic bars in the South Florida area.
McSorley’s Beach Pub & Rooftop Lounge – 837 North Ft. Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, Ft. Lauderdale
Another great choice in the Ft. Lauderdale area, McSorley’s Beach Pub & Rooftop Lounge gives you two choices. You can enjoy the pub downstairs or head up to the rooftop lounge for great drinks and excellent views. It’s a place for socializing with plenty of music and fun provided.
The beach is just a short walk from McSorley’s. You can enjoy all kinds of guest DJs, events and drink specials held here every week. They are open from 11am to 3am, Friday and Saturday and from 11am to 2am, Sunday through Thursday.

They are known for the sun, surf and sand, but many also come for the sushi, steak and seafood on the menu. If you want to enjoy this fine dining restaurant, you may want to get a reservation, however. It can get very busy and it’s not always possible to get a table without reservation.
S3 Restaurant is open from 11:30am to 11pm, Monday through Thursday, from 11:30am to 12am, Friday and Saturday and from 10am to 10pm on Sundays.
RumBar – 455 Grand Bay Drive, Key Biscayne
