Mother Day’s IdeasMay 10, 2012
Whether it is your mom, your grandma, your mother in laws, or your children’s mom, this Sunday is the time to make that special woman in your life feel extra special. Flowers, chocolate, jewelry are all great ways to make her feel so good and special. Is your wife into shopping? Get someone to watch the kids and take her on a shopping day in one of the great malls of Miami. If your special one is a foodie, then nothing says “your are great” better than a nice Sunday Brunch.
Miami is known for the sandy beaches, and the great weather, but it is also known for the great dining options the city has to offer. Yesterday we told you about a great mother’s day brunch in Key Biscayne. Spoil her in a Ritz-Carlton style in Cippino, with more than 100 culinary specialties including caviar, cold seafood, Chef de Omelet, crepes, sushi, dim sum, a variety of hot food selections and leave room for dessert!
Another great local favorite for brunch is Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink. Michael’s Gebuine is located in the exciting and vibrant area of the design district here in Miami. All their dishes are made fresh from local ingredients. The brunch menu is A la carte and the idea is to order several dishes to share around the table, very similar to the tapas concept. Probably one of the most special dishes you’ll ever find anywhere in South Florida for brunch.
The Coral Gables Biltmore Sunday Champagne Brunch, is probably one of South Florida most famous brunches. This one is probably one of the country’s most lavish Champagne brunches. Offered every Sunday in the Fontana’s stunning courtyard this buffet features numerous delicacies, such as caviar, smoked salmon, shellfish, carved meats, fresh omelettes, pastas, sushi and more. This one will definitely make any person feels very special.
Make sure you call for reservations as all these brunches usually get booked completely very early. This is just a small sample of the brunches Miami has to offer. Of all of these are already booked, don’t give up, there are plenty of more out there. Whatever you decide to do for your special woman this Sunday, make sure she feels extra special as this day is her day! Happy Mother’s Day everyone!
