Private Mansion Opened to Guests at the Ireland K ClubOctober 25, 2013
The K Club Hotel, Spa and Country Club found in Kildare, Ireland have opened a three-floor residence for private reservations for the first time ever. This 550 acre property includes the Straffan House mansion, which is a design much like a French chateau.
This used to be the private residence of Michael Smurfit, the owner of the K Club. However, it has now been opened for reservations. This 10-bedroom house, can be rented for $26,000 per night in the summer and $16,000 in the winter. It covers 34,000 square feet and includes beautiful antique chandeliers with original art by Jack B. Yeats.
Along with the antique features, many modern features are found in the house, as well. An indoor swimming pool, gym, spa, home cinema, wine cellar and game room are a few of the amenities guests can enjoy. Guests reserving the house receive unlimited golf at the two Arnold Palmer championship courses, as well.

This venue was the home of the 2006 Ryder Cup and has hosted the European Open three times. Guests of this house also receive access to the 20,000-square-foot spa and all the other outdoor activities found at the club. Whether you want to enjoy horseback riding, fishing, skeet shooting, golf or any other activity, you will have full access.
