Protecting Our Clients

July 26, 2010
Selling a home today is stressful enough without worrying about being vulnerable and that’s where a Realtor comes in. Realtors are trained to protect our client’s privacy and we take that responsibility very seriously.   We don’t just list and promote your home, we understand the importance of screening every one who is invited to it. A skilled Realtor will make sure a potential buyer has been pre-qualified, and we require that personal identification is submitted before we show a home. By accompanying a potential buyer, the Realtor places herself between the seller and the buyer, answering questions and conducting negotiations as an agent of sale.

Marketing your home puts it in the public eye and a Realtor will often suggest that you store or put away anything that is valuable or a family treasure. That way, it helps relieve the stress of worrying about strangers coming into your home. Put those special things away before taking photos or filming for the Virtual Tour so that they’re not seen on the internet by anyone else but family. Chances are, these precautions aren’t necessary at all, but it’s better to take that extra step of a precaution for a little extra peace of mind.
