Royal Salute’s Newest Scotch Whiskey – Tribute to Honour
June 8, 2012For his 21st year of blending scotch whiskey, highly acclaimed master blender Colin Scott has taken things to a whole new level with a whiskey so fine, so precious and of course, so expensive, that he and he alone is the only one who has had even so much as a sample of his newest and most luxurious creation – Tribute to Honour. The premium collection of blended Scotch whiskey is an homage to the great kings of old Scotland, The Honours of Scotland. As a rich in history as Scotland herself, the new whiskey from Royal Salute is a blend of the oldest and most exquisite liquors in Royal Tribute’s own vault, each at least 45 years old… In fact, the blend is so rare that only 21 bottles have been blended (appropriate for 21 years of experience), and each one will cost you $200,000 to acquire. And FYI, that’s 21 bottles including one that will never be sold because it will be stored in Royal Salute’s own vault.
As if the Scotch whiskey itself were not luxurious enough, each bottle has been hand cast, gilded and embezzled with over 400 pure black and white diamonds totaling 22 carats in weight. In fact, to ensure the bottle looks as good as its contents deserve, Collins et al hired the world’s oldest jewelers, Garrard, to take on the responsibility of perfecting each and every bottle. If the price as the most expensive whiskey in the world weren’t, one glance at the Royal Salute: Tribute to Honor, even in photo form, is enough to tell you that they succeeded, and then some.
