Tech Thursday – iPad 3 Announcement Approaching?
February 9, 2012John Paczkowski of All Things D reports today that Apple Inc. is expected to announce the iPad 3 during the first week of March. Apple is not holding an event in February this year, but it is holding one in March during which sources say Apple will announce the highly anticipated iPad 3. If Apple will follow it’s usual scheduling this means that the iPad 3 should be available to purchase by mid to end of March. The new version of the iPad is expected to look the same as the iPad 2, but to run a much faster processor, support an improved graphics processing unit, and feature a high resolution Retina display. As always there is no official response from Apple about this, but March of 2012 has been believed for a long time now to be the target release date for iPad 3. As always we’ll have to wait and see.
