Miami will light it up again this year for Cinco de Mayo with many parties throughout the city. However, there are two specific events happening, which are worth mentioning. The Cinco de Mayo Brickell Fest and the Cinco de Mayo Crawl will be happening over the weekend to celebrate this holiday.
Cinco de Mayo Brickell Fest
The festival will be held on Sunday, May 5th from Noon to 11pm in the Brickell Fest Lot. This is the second year in a row this festival has been held and it will provide plenty of entertainment, food, drinks and much more. Come out and enjoy mini-wrestlers, a mechanical bull, plenty of Mexican food, margaritas, music and more!
Tickets for the festival are $28 for general admission and VIP tickets are $56. General admission tickets include admission and a complimentary beer. The VIP tickets provide expedited entry, an official mug, one beer or margarita, a sombrero and access to the VIP Tent & Garden.
Cinco de Mayo Crawl in South Miami
The Crawl will be held Saturday, May 4th from 8:30pm to Sunday, May 5th at 1am. It will start at Splitsville and will make history. This tour of the South Miami venues will provides so much fun, food, entertainment and drinks. The crawl includes the following bars:
- Splitsville – from 8:30 to 10pm and the check in location
- Bougainvilleas – from 10pm – 11pm
- Irish Times – from 11pm – 12am
- Tavern – from 12am – 1am
The crawl is for 21 years of age and up with a happy hour all night. Each bar will provide a free shot and all crawl guests will skip any lines with free entry. Early bird tickets are $19.99 and tickets the night of the crawl are $25. If you plan to attend the crawl, recommended parking is in the Sunset Place Garage at 58th Avenue and 72st SW.
