Upcoming Events at the New World Center

The New World Center is the campus of the New World Symphony and America’s Orchestral Academy. This venue is home to many events throughout the year and provides a world-class cultural destination for all residents in the area. Here are some of the upcoming events to add to your calendar.

Keiko Matsui with Al Di Meola – Friday, May 31st at 8pm

Jazz artist and pianist Keiko Matsui will be performing with special guest Al Di Meola for the first time together. Many of Keiko’s songs from her new album will be performed, along with many original works from De Meola.

Concert for Kids – Sunday, September 29th at 11:30am and 2:30pm

If you’re searching for a great concert for your little ones, this is the perfect choice. These two shows are put together with ages four through nine in mind. The event will include a meet and greet before the concert with an instrument petting zoo.

A Gershwin Opening – Saturday October 5th at 7:30pm and Sunday October 6th at 2pm

This concert kicks off a series of Saturday night concerts and Sunday afternoon concerts. It will feature Michael Tilson Thomas as the conductor and Yuja Wang on piano.

Many other events are already on the fall schedule and more will be added throughout the summer.
