Some areas of the United States are very expensive for living, such as the Beverly Hills 90210 zip code, which most know from the popular TV show.  Here’s a list of the most expensive places to live throughout the country.

10th Most Expensive – Miami Beach, Florida (33140)

The northern section of Miami Beach is known as one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the United States. It contains a number of exclusive spas and galleries. Five homes sold here for over $10 million in the past few years.

9th Most Expensive – Palm Beach, Florida (33480)

Known as “The Gold Coast” Palm Beach is a very expensive area found in Florida. This neighborhood has six homes sell for over $10 million in recent years.

8th Most Expensive – Santa Barbara, California (93108)

With seven home sales for $10 million or more, Santa Barbara makes the eight spot on the list.

7th Most Expensive – Brentwood, California (90049)

A popular Los Angeles neighborhood, Brentwood had eight homes sell for $10 million or more.

6th Most Expensive – New York, New York (10028)

The Upper East Side of New York City had ten homes sell for $10 million or more.

5th Most Expensive – Miami Beach, FL (33139)

Another Miami Beach Neighborhood making the list has 11 homes sell for over $10 million and is home to some of the best nightlife in the world.

4th Most Expensive – Bel Air, CA (90077)

Known mainly from the TV show “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” this neighborhood had 12 homes sell for over $10 million.

3rd Most Expensive – Aspen, Colorado (81611)

Skiers flock to Aspen and 16 homes sold for $10 million or more here, including one for nearly $40 million.

2nd Most Expensive – New York, New York (10023)

Another NYC neighborhood with very expensive homes, the Upper West Side had 17 homes sell for $10 million or more.

Most Expensive Neighborhood in the United States – Beverly Hills, California (90210)

Not only is this the most expensive neighborhood with 18 homes selling for $10 million or more, but it’s also one of the most famous.
