Where can You Find the Most Expensive Burger in Miami?
December 3, 2013Maybe you’re looking for one of those restaurants that will lure you in with brunch buffets, prix fixe menus or even bottomless mimosas. There are plenty of those types of places throughout Miami. However, Baoli will attract you in a completely different way.
This South Beach restaurant is known for the burger and not for the gimmicks they use to get you in the door. Executive chef Gustavo Vertone had one purpose, to create the most expensive burger in Miami. He has succeeded with the Baoli’s Burger.
For $65, you can enjoy this status-symbol of a burger. It’s made with Kobe beef, foie gras, brioche, heirloom tomatoes, black truffles, caramelized onions, quail eggs and mayonnaise. This combination not only sets all the flavors on fire, but also provides a burger you just can’t get anywhere else.
The burger patty is slowly cooked to make sure all the flavors of the high-dollar Kobe beef revealed. Along with the slow-cooked burger, the toppings are the best and freshest found in the world. The black truffles may be one of the most expensive toppings ever put on a burger and the quail eggs are just not found on many burgers in the world.
The Baoli’s Burger is directly competing with the DB Bistro Moderne’s “Orginial DB Burger,” which runs $34. This competing burger includes similar ingredients, but uses sirloin and braised short rib. Even though the DB Burger is a good choice, it’s not the most expensive or the best burger in Miami.
Vertone believes the Baoli’s Burger is better than any of the other expensive burgers because of the way it’s cooked. All the juices and flavors are kept in the burger making it worth every penny spent.
Baoli Miami is found in Miami Beach at 1906 Collins Avenue. They are open from 7pm to 2am Sunday through Wednesday and Friday and Saturday.
