Which Celebrities Own Real Estate in Miami?

The list of celebrities living throughout the city is very long and includes men and women from the music industry, actors, athletes and many others. Here’s a look at some of the celebrities that own homes in Miami.
Phil Collins
The home owned by Phil Collins is found in the La Gorce Country Club area. It was built in the 1920s and provides an incredible choice. The home sits on the Biscayne Bay and provides some of the most incredible views in the area. It also features a new dock with Jet Ski lifts and 200 feet of Bayfront.
Properties in La Gorce Country Club start at more than #10 million and can go up to as much as about $40 million.
Gloria Estefan
The home owned by Gloria Estefan is found on Start Island. She owns it with her husband Emilio Estefan. They purchased the home back in 1986 for $600K and it’s now worth about $20 million. They also own another home on Star Island worth about $40 million, which they use for guests.
As one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in all of Miami-Dade County, Star Island is home to only 34 residences. There are rarely homes available for sale here. Only five homes have sold over the past three years, in fact.

Barry Gibb

It’s not shocking that the richest boxer to ever step in a ring lives in Miami. He may even come out of retirement to make even more cash. He owns a beach estate in Miami, which he originally spent $1.5 million for. Today, it’s worth far more than that.
Pharrell Williams
Pharrell Williams has a 40th floor Brickell Condo, which he purchased in 2007. It was on the market for $16.8 million in 2014, but he pulled it off the market and still owns it today. The condo covers 10,000 square feet and has all the amenities and features one would expect from a huge penthouse. It even has a private pool.
Matt Damon
Damon’s house has been the market for a while in Miami Beach. It has had to come down on the price multiple times, but the property may still go for as much as $20 million. It’s a beautiful waterfront home with a huge swimming pool and many luxury features.
Sofia Vergara
One of the stars of Modern Family and one of the sexiest women in Hollywood, Sofia has a condo in Miami. She bought it for just $165,000, originally, but its worth more than that today.
Christian Slater
Even though Slater’s career took off in the 1980s and 1990s, he’s still found in a few roles here and there. Interview With the Vampire was one of his largest roles and he’s carved out a nice life in Miami for himself. He lives in Coconut Grove and the home he owns was purchased for $2.2 million recently.
LeBron James
While LeBron left for Cleveland, he still has a home in Coconut Grove. However, it has been on the market for a while and it did finally have a sale pending on it. The home is found in Crystal View and faces the Biscayne Bay. The original listing was for $15 million, but the price had to come down before it received an offer.
