Which Two Homes are the Most Expensive in South Florida?
December 8, 2014There are a number of very expensive homes found throughout the South Florida area. From South Beach to Jupiter, Florida, multi-million dollar homes are found all over this part of the state. However, only two can be the most expensive in the area from the 2014 listings.
Other Expensive Homes in South Florida
Before we get into the two most expensive homes in South Florida, here are a few other pricy homes.
The home found on North Bay Road was listed this year for $40 million. It’s the former home of Jennifer Lopez and has been listed for about two years without a buyer.
Many other expensive homes in South Florida are by Addison Mizner and Mario Sims Wyeth. These homes are found within the Palm Beach area and go for prices up to $59 million.
If these don’t fit your fancy, there’s also a home with a water park found on Jupiter Island. This home was owned by Celine Deion and has been listed for $62.5 million.
The Most Expensive South Florida Homes
Two of the homes listed in 2014 top the list as the most expensive in South Florida. Here’s a look at each one.
1744 South Ocean Boulevard, Palm Beach
This $99 million home is quite large and provides plenty of amazing views of the ocean and Lake Worth. It’s found just down the road from Mar a Lago and covers land from Lake Worth to the Ocean.
Pumpkin Key Home
Another massive home in Pumpkin Key, Florida tops the list at $110 million. This is by far the most expensive home listed in 2014. It was listed early in the year and provides exclusive access to the Ocean Reef Club. The main home has three bedrooms, a doc master’s office, golf cart paths, two caretaker cottages, tennis courts, a 20 slip marina and covers more than 26 acres of land. The tennis courts also serve at a helicopter pad.
