Some of the best events are for a good cause, which allow you to not only give a little, but also enjoy a great night of fun. Here are some of the best upcoming charity events in Miami, Florida.
Susan G. Komen Miami Race for the Cure – Bayfront Park – October 18th
This event started when one of two sisters was dying of cancer. It was just a small event, at first, but has grown to a massive fundraiser for cancer research. Over the years, they have donated over $2 billion dollars to cancer research to help find a cure. You can participate in the 19th annual Komen Race in Miami on October 18th at 8am. This will be a 5K run and registration is $30 until August 15th and $35 after August 15th.
Deja Vu – Hard Rock Hotel and Casino – October 25th
Deja Vu is an event used to help raise money for the Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization. The event features plenty of music from the 1960s and 1970s, along with drinks and more. Celebrity impersonators will be on hand and guests will dress to match the theme. The event will start at 6pm and provide plenty of fun for everybody.
InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball- InterContinental Miami – November 1st
You can dress like a princess or prince for this event and help to provide for a needy child. The 19th Annual Intercontinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball will provide plenty of dancing, a silent auction and a number of other things. The gala has raised over $14 million and has helped more than 3,000 children fulfill a wish before passing from a terminally ill diagnosis.
