Casa Bahia Become Second Most Expensive Miami-Dade Home at $50 Million

Casa Bahia is found in Coconut Grove and provides a very beautiful contemporary home. Recently, it was listed for $50 million and became the second most expensive home for sale in Miami-Dade County. The Faena House penthouse is the only listing higher at $55 million.
The home was designed by Alejandro Landes, a filmmaker. It was the first home Landes designed and he worked with Zyscovich Architects. THe home covers 20,000 square feet and its truly a work of art featuring very sleek finishes and an exposed exoskeleton wrapped with white, glass and teak stucco.
The master bedroom features one of the finest views of the Biscayne Bay found in all of Coconut Grove. Of course, views from other areas of the home are also quite amazing because of the floor-to-ceiling windows found throughout. The rooftop deck aand floating balconies also provide incredible views.

Echavarria bought the land for the home about ten years ago, but wasn’t ready to build on the property. She wanted to create all of the home’s interiros and design plenty of pieces of furniture for it first. All of the furniture she designed is inluded in the asking price for the home.
Ms. Echavarria moved into the home about a year ago, but is selling the home because she have another in Bali. She spends so much time traveling, she decided it wasn’t necessary to own the home any longer.
