The ship’s expanded atrium comes with venues for casual dining and entertainment. From its top deck area to its portside bar is an enclosed glass floor pathway, its first-ever. The ship also has its adults-only pool with exclusive cabanas on the top deck, the biggest upper deck pool ever in a cruise ship. Light and nighttime water are also available. Passengers are treated to upgraded movies on its Under the Stars big screen.
The Royal Princess offers contemporary-designed staterooms in various sizes. The Interior rooms feature twin beds while the Mini-suites have flat screen TVs and detached sitting areas. Suites with balcony feature access to the ship’s mattress options and laundry service as well as the ship’s Concierge Lounge. The ship also uses environmental-friendly key card technology, which allows guests to control light usage when not inside their rooms, thus conserving energy.
With the ship’s various dining areas, the guests have the freedom to choose from the specialty menus, seafood & steak, casual cuisine, or the more intimate dinner experience from the Chef’s Table Lumiere. It does not matter whether guests prefer the usual sit-down dinner or ready-to-go food preparations; Royal Princess will be able to meet every passenger’s food service demand.
When it comes to providing entertainment, the Royal Princess does it best. Guests can look forward to fun game shows, entertaining live concerts, and the interactive cooking show, a first in cruise ship industry. The ship’s huge Princess Theater is also a must-try. The largest cruise theater to date, it can provide guests a sophisticated setting while enjoying shows and performances.
Next spring, the Royal Princess will be making her maiden voyage from Miami to the Caribbean.
