Art Basel Miami Beach
One of the top art events in the entire country, Art Basel Miami Beach is held every year. It’s the sister show to the one held in Switzerland and features over 250 galleries, 50,000 collectors and a ton of spin-off events throughout the city.
Art Basel provides many satellite fairs, such as Design Miami and Pulse, which are both great events themselves. It’s also known for attracting all kinds of celebrities from all across the globe.
King Mango Strut
Every year, the King Mango Strut takes place in Coconut Grove. This event started at a parody of the old Orange Bowl Parade and has not become an annual event with plenty of fun. It’s tagline is “Putting the NUT back in CocoNUT since 1982.”
International Chocolate Festival
If you love chocolate, this is your event. It’s a great place to learn all about chocolate and enjoy some of the fine treats. Local chefs are on hand, along with chocolatiers to provide samples and all types of treats.
Miami Beer Festival
The Miami Beer Festival is an event many look forward to every year. It’s held at Marlins Park, which is turned into a huge beer garden. Brewers from all over the world make their way to provide samples of specialty beers, limited runs and many other unique beer choices. There are also plenty of food trucks on hand and DJs providing fun entertainment.
Art Miami
A major South Florida art fair, Art Miami has become a fixture on the winter calendar. It has been held for about 25 years and provides plenty of great art for everybody to enjoy. About 125 international galleries participate in the event every year.
Beaux Arts Festival of Art
A family-friendly weekend event held at the University of Miami’s Lowe Art Museum, Beaux Arts Festival of Art features over 200 artists. It’s a great place to view art and make purchases. Plenty of food vendors are always on hand for this event and admission is free.
ING Miami Marathon
Those looking to compete in a marathon or just test your will to finish, will enjoy the ING Miami Marathon. It’s held every year with the starting line at the American Airlines Arena and the finishing line at Bayfront Park.
Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail
Do you love huge, expensive yachts? If so, this is the event for you. The Miami International Boat Show is one of the biggest boat shows of the year with yachts, powerboats, sailboats and more on display. You can find out about the latest technology or go shopping for a new boat.
The event is held every year in Miami and used to be at the Miami Beach Convention Center. However, it has recently moved to the Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin. Strictly Sail is another part of the event, which will be held at Miamarina at Bayside.
Coconut Grove Arts Festival
Another huge art event held every year, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival provides works of art from more than 350 artists. Food from local vendors is always a huge hit at this vent and you can even enjoy taking the Metrorail right to the event.
Art Deco Weekend

Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival
One of the top food and wine events held every year is the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival. It’s for serious foodies and wine connoisseurs and attracts many superstar chefs. Tastings, culinary seminars, parties, VIP parties and so much more are held throughout this event.
