Bring It! Live

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts will hold the Bring It! Live dance performance on Saturday July 30th at 8pm. This performance comes from The Dollhouse Dance Factory from Jackson, MI. IT will be held in the Au-Rene Theater and tickets range from $29.75 to $99.75, depending on the seat you choose.

This is an upbeat dance performance with amazing stunts and plenty for the audience to enjoy. The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is found at 201 SW 6th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.

Ciudad De Orichas

Held at the Koubek Center as a part of the 18th Annual IFE-ILE Afro-Cuban Dance Festival, the Ciudad De Orichas performance will bring plenty of fun to the festival. It will be held from August 11th to 13th and will include plenty of workshops, performances and much more. The Ciudad de Orichas or City of Orichas performance will include music from Frank Oba Lords.

Dance Fantasy

On Sunday, September 25th starting at 5pm, the Dance Fantasy performance will be held at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. This performance comes from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Miami Beach. It’s a part of the third anniversary celebration. Tickets will range from $35 to $65, depending on your choice of seat.

Celebrating Indian Festivals

Indian DanceHeld on Saturday, October 15th at 2pm, the Celebrating Indian Festivals will provide fun dance performances and plenty of interactive presentations. This is an interesting type of dance with Dancer Ranjana Warier showing various Indian dances from the festivals called Diwali and Navaratri. This performance will take place at the Folklife Gallery in the HistoryMiami Museum, which is the perfect setting.

Giselle By Miami City Ballet

The Miami City Ballet will perform Giselle throughout October and November. This company of dancers was founded in 1985 and has provides many performances throughout the years. This ballet will be held at the Adrienne Arsht Center, which is located at 1301 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami.

New World Dance Ensemble

On November 4th, the New World Dance Ensemble will be joined by alumni for the NWSA’s 30th Anniversary. This will be a unique chance to see some of the finest dances with NWSA alumnus Robert Battle, Sean Curran, Gerald Ebitz and many others. Tickets for this event are just $12 and it will be held at the Aventura Arts & Culture Center.

Dance Workshop: From Ancient Tradition to Bollywood

Held on November 5th at 2pm, this Dance Workshop will provide a journey through Indian Dance. It will start with some of the classic dances and move towards the Bollywood choices. Beginners are welcome to come and enjoy participating in this workshop. It’s $5 for members of the HistoryMiami Museum and $15 for non-members.

The Nutcracker

Miami BalletA long holiday tradition with multiple performances, the Miami City Ballet will perform The Nutcracker. It will be held from December 9th to December 11th at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The Miami Ballet will once again perform The Nutcracker at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts from December 17th to December 24th. If you cannot catch one of these performances, you can see The Nutcracker at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts from December 28th to December 30th.
