Luxury Weather
February 13, 2012Luxury could mean different things to different people. In one of our recent Ross Reports we discussed the definition of livable luxury and showed you that the definition of luxury in the real estate world constantly changes as it is trying to keep pace with a modern world and the changing needs of its unique clients. The difficulty defining ‘Luxury Weather’ also lies in the fact that different conditions could mean different things for different people. While a cold and snowy day could mean bad news to most of us, to the Ski fanatics among us it could be great news as great conditions for Skiing will probably exist in the following few days. So what is your luxury weather like? Sunny days? windy days? cold and snowy?
As you can see it is pretty hard to define what Luxury Weather is, but we are pretty confident that Miami Weather would be pretty close to such definition if one would exist. We ended last week with a positive outlook for Miami real estate in 2012. We shared a large amount of interesting numbers supporting the positive outlook. What we haven’t talked about in last week’s posts was one of the main reasons that Miami real estate is predicted to have a great year, and that is the fact that Miami is simply a great city!!!
We are not sure what luxury weather really is, but we feel pretty luxurious during beautiful days such as yesterday and today, especially since this is happening to us while residents of the rest of North America and most of Europe are dealing with cold, rainy and even snowy weather. It feels great to be able to go out to Lincoln Road in Miami Beach in the middle of February and have a nice lunch and a glass of wine outside in the sun. The combination of great entertainment and beautiful weather is the key, in our mind, to Miami’s great appeal.
