People from all around the United States and the world know of Miami Beach. It is one of the most renowned and dreamed of travel destinations in the world. The population, according to the most recent census is approximately 88,000 people. More than 55 percent of those people are actually non-native residents, who came to fulfill their dream of living in what many consider to be the epitome of paradise. Miami Beach is an independent city in Florida, however, it is often considered to be the same as Miami. Therefore, many people refer to Miami as both Miami and Miami Beach.
Typical for Miami Beach is the tropical climate. This area also has a moderately developed educational system. It contains a decent number of elementary and middle schools and fewer high schools and universities. This makes it possible for its residents to receive the education they need in order to achieve their dreams. The infrastructure of Miami Beach is also extremely well developed. It is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the world, having a well established transportation system that can manage transit for hundreds of thousands of local as well as the millions of tourists that visit annually.
There are many interesting places to visit in Miami Beach. For some they can simply be great sightseeing places for tourists or just places where the residents like to have fun. For example, popular attractions of Miami Beach are the Art Deco Historic District, Lincoln Road, Bongo’s Café, Versace Mansion and many others.
Tourism development is not only due to attractions such as those mentioned above, but also due to the business climate here. Like most cities, the business district is really important for the people in the city. The businesses here help to support a strong economy and there are many work opportunities for residents and out-of-towners.
This overall result is really inviting, because of the great climate, sunny beaches, and numerous night clubs. All of this combined with the fact that there are constantly new construction and economic development plans being put into place by the local and state government in order to make the city better, will continue to make Miami Beach a popular tourist destination.
