Back in the beginning of May we told you about our 2012 Gables Estates Sales. These sales of four multimillion dollar homes in just four months were amongst the first indicators in our market that the high-end luxury real estate market has reached a well anticipated recovery mode.
With this in mind many sellers these day start wondering if this is a good time to put their house on the market. Board-certified real estate lawyer Gary M. Singer writes in his weekly editorial in the SunSentinel that now is “a great time to put your house on the market“. Singer explains that since the inventory of homes to sell in South Florida has declined this would be a great time to sell your home. In addition to that Singer believes that more bank-owned homes will hit the market sometimes after labor day, so selling before that happens and competition goes up again would be a great move.
