The iPhone Community Officially Welcomes Verizon Customers

After months of rumors and speculations the day has finally arrived. The Verizon iPhone is now available for sale at Apple, Verizon, and Best Buy stores across the U.S. Got your new iPhone today? Congratulation!!! but what now? Well you could start by going to the App store and start downloading all the apps you desire. According to Apple there are over 300,000 apps available currently on the App store for the iPhone. Some are free, and some are sold for a price. There are apps for games, productivity, social networking, shopping, discounts, news, navigation, banking, movies, music, and much more. There is an app for almost everything one can imagine.
So with so many apps out there, how do you choose? There are really no rules for doing that. Some like to use iTunes, or the App Store app on their phone, and base their decision on the app description and the reviews it gets. Others like to use app review sites such as MacWorld’s AppGuide, while some ask their friends, or look for apps made by their favorite and trusted brands. Just try it out and see what works best for you.

One last thing to remember is the security of your phone and data. One good practice is to turn on your passcode lock. This will only allow access to your phone using a 4 digit access code which you will set. Another great feature is a free Apple app called ‘Find My iPhone‘. This app will let you track down your iPhone in case you cannot find it.
